Managed, specifically
Four things a reseller will not do for you.
Most hosting is sold once and then forgotten until something breaks. This is the difference, stated plainly enough to hold us to.
We watch it
Uptime and security monitoring runs against every site we host, and the alert comes to us. You should not be the monitoring system.
We patch it
Core, theme and plugin updates are applied by us and checked afterwards. A snapshot is taken first, so a bad plugin release is a five minute rollback.
We can undo it
Daily off-server backups with retention, and a restore is a phone call rather than a support ticket that ages for a week.
You can reach us
A landline in Ballito that a person answers between 08:00 and 17:00, rather than an offshore queue and a reference number.
Migration

We take stock
An inventory of what actually exists: files, database, mailboxes, DNS records, any subdomains or integrations somebody set up years ago and forgot to mention.

We copy and test
A full copy is stood up on our servers and tested on a temporary address while your live site carries on serving customers untouched.

We switch, at a quiet hour
DNS is cut over at a time we agree, usually early morning. Mail routing moves with it, so nothing bounces during propagation.

We watch it settle
Monitoring, SSL and backups confirmed working, and the old host kept in place for a fortnight in case anything needs retrieving.

Hosting, SSL, mailboxes, backups, monitoring and updates are carried inside every website care plan. There is no separate hosting invoice to reconcile.
We do host sites we did not build, provided they are in a state we can responsibly support. If they are not, we will tell you what needs fixing first rather than take the money and inherit the problem.
