How we formulate
Five rules. They are the reason the labels look the way they do.
Name the raw material
Albion®, Ferrochel®, K2VITAL®. A branded, patented ingredient is traceable to a specification and to published research. A generic label reading “magnesium glycinate” tells you nothing about whether the chelate was ever fully reacted.
Print the dose
Every active in every formula carries its own number. Proprietary blends exist so that the interesting ingredient can be present in trace amounts without anyone noticing. We would rather be compared honestly.
Formulate the system, not the headline
Iron without copper, folate and B12 does not build blood. D3 without K2 answers half a question. Magnesium without attention to the form is a laxative. Each formula includes the cofactors the primary ingredient depends on.
Design for the person who has to keep taking it
Tolerability is not a nice-to-have. Ferritin restoration takes months, so an iron that causes nausea fails regardless of how much elemental iron it contains. Chelated forms were chosen for compliance as much as absorption.
Say what has not been established
These are dietary supplements. They have not been evaluated by a health authority for quality, safety and intended use, and we do not claim they treat disease. Where we cite a figure, we cite where it came from.
